Covid-19 Precautions and Safety
Security officers play a crucial role in public safety,during the global pandemic that is currently affecting us all,we want to make sure our security officers are staying safe during this time.It is very important that we take the proper precautions to keep us all safe.A huge factor in staying safe is Social Distancing and PPE(Personal Protective Equipment).
Social Distancing-Social distancing is a set of actions taken to stop or slow the spread of a highly contagious disease. The goal of social distancing is to limit face-to-face contact to decrease the spread of illness among people in community settings. What these actions look like at the community level will vary depending on local conditions.
Precautions:
- Keeping away from others who are sick.
- Limiting close contact with others as much as possible (about 6 feet).
- Protect yourself and others from infection by washing your hands or using an alcohol based rub frequently and not touching your face.
- Practice respiratory etiquette (for example, by coughing into a flexed elbow).
- Avoiding sharing personal items (example, dishes, cups, utensils, towels)
- Wearing PPE(Personal protective Equipment)

PPE–Personal protective equipment is protective clothing, helmets, goggles, or other garments or equipment designed to protect from injury or infection. We recommend all of our security officers to make sure they are using the recommended PPE.

- Hand Sanitizer
- Alcohol Wipes
- Lysol Spray
- Thermometer(to check for fever)
It is crucial for our security officers to use their PPE for the safety of themselves and others.
